the blog manifesto.

the purpose of sme is simply this: to overthrow the capitalist hegemony that has a stranglehold on our beautiful, multiethnic society. contributors are asked to take part in this, our overriding mission, so the people of the green earth can breathe together in the clean air of progressive politics and non-judgmentalism. each blog post must bask in the sunlight of earnest expression, never falling into the trap of satire or parody. our aim is clarity and verisimilitude; our mission is truth and the propagation of it. the blog is the perfect place to post your old family videos, homophobic video blogs, another blog's material, awkward, poorly-drawn sketches, halo reach updates, or unexplained/irrelevant wikipedia articles--sme is home to the entire eclectic conflation that is the internet. if there is one thing entirely intolerable to the editors of sme, it is sarcasm. there is simply no room in this blog for sarcastic, humorous, and reference driven posts. if you are among those responsible for such garbage, please leave.

sincerely,

a collection of the words of the wisdom

most of sme will be gone for three weeks. whilst we are away, meditate on these words of wisdom:

a pie earns only as much as piemaker maker makes

remember, winners.

listen my son and you shall hear the words of my mother

plant the seed in the dew morning and you will see long-suffering

never grab by the chub what you can smack with a mallet

never grab by the chub---it's just not a good idea

sell not grief when you can obtain instant pleasure for way less

work diligently, and riches will be yours, satan?

the earth is abundant with life, know the deepest of her earth crotch

Tantalizing will reap friends who are kind of blind

Tattered belongings break the mold of the convalescent, leader

Sell not your sister into slavery, least your eye not stay your quivering hand

Injustice is the ammunition of the terminally resplendent

Finding your heart is like taking owls to Athens, but finding Athens is like taking the heart out of an owl.

giving hurts the homeless. you shouldn't give to the homeless.

there was a horse master, long and empowered, who met a cannibal. the horse master took the cannibal by his giftings and noted the difference. "release me unjust full-overlord" beckoned the cannibal. the muscular, throbbing master would hear no objections, and alas, they were man and manopolis. thus is life.

the storm ruins the virginity of his damp back. take heed. touch not the back.

a stiff banana in the hand is worth two lumpy squash in the sack

Grab life by the horns, then ask yourself how you're doing that cause it's weird

if love your mother and hate your father then you, you sack of crap, oh lord I really get pissed off at you sometimes. why do I even care. sometimes, sometimes I don't even think your listening.

fruit. bike. fruitbike.

a clever butler often ovulates his obliques.

request not what you may find on a quest--so two dollars are plenty for scholars.
